Abstract

This episode is part one of three of the lecture series [HTA 18] on Spring 2026 philosophy conferences and other public-facing philosophy events; this episode in particular specifically addresses my experiences at the 55th Annual Meeting of the North Texas Philosophical Association [NTPA] in 2026, including my presentation on Mikel Dufrenne’s Phenomenology of Aesthetic Experience [1953], implicitly informed by the works of María Lugones. I presented an excerpt from a comparative essay, specifically on the world of the aesthetic object and its capacities for aretaic perception/worlding.
